The Managing Editorial of Journal of Law and Economics cordially invites academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, and economists to submit scholarly articles for publication in Volume 5 Number 1, May 2025 edition.

Journal of Law and Economics is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually by Yayasan Kawanad, focusing on interdisciplinary studies between law and economics. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical reviews, and empirical studies that contribute significantly to the understanding of contemporary legal and economic phenomena.

Scope and Coverage

We welcome manuscripts covering topics including economic analysis of law, corporate law and governance, competition law, financial regulation, property rights and contract law, labor law, environmental law and economics, international trade law, tax law and fiscal policy, law and development, behavioral economics in law, and intellectual property rights.

Language Policy

Manuscripts are accepted in two languages: Indonesian and English. The publication language will correspond to the language of the submitted manuscript.

Manuscript Requirements

All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under review by other journals. Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process by competent reviewers in their respective fields. Authors are expected to follow the journal's writing guidelines and submit manuscripts through the available online submission system.
