This community service program aims to address the stagnation and membership attrition of grassroots community groups through structural governance interventions. The program involved 22 participants, consisting of 10 members of a Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani) and 12 micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) members in Karangan Village, Prabumulih. Baseline data (T1) indicated that the absence of formal governance contributed to a decline in active members from 20–23 to 10 individuals, accompanied by a low perceived commitment level of 50 out of 100 due to role ambiguity and unstructured communication. To resolve these challenges, the Community Involvement and Development (CID) Team of PT Pertamina EP Limau Field facilitated participatory assistance in formulating the internal statutes and bylaws (Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga/AD-ART). Post-intervention evaluation (T2) demonstrated positive developments in group dynamics, in which the drafted AD/ART clarified division of roles, mitigated micromanaging tendencies by group leaders, and improved communication satisfaction through structured communication channels. The institutionalization process serves as a strategic foundation to reinforce role clarity, enhance the communication climate, and gradually restore member commitment.
