This community service program addressed the limited capacity of the Gampong Baro community in implementing environmentally friendly aquaculture practices and the lack of continuous technical assistance. The program aimed to enhance community capacity and economic welfare through the development of a sustainable vannamei shrimp farming system. Activities were conducted through field surveys, program socialization, and participatory engagement involving village officials, shrimp farmer groups, and the wider community. These activities provided fundamental knowledge on the economic potential of vannamei shrimp and emphasized the application of sustainability principles in aquaculture management. The results showed increased community awareness, participation, and motivation to adopt sustainable shrimp farming practices. The main outputs included a sustainable vannamei shrimp farming training module as a technical guideline and the establishment of a local shrimp farmer group as a platform for capacity building and collaboration. The program strengthened community capacity and supported the sustainable and productive management of fisheries.
