Journal Innovations Computer Science Volume 5 Issue 1 published in May 2026 features research studies exploring web-based information systems, mobile application development, machine learning, and digital transformation across education, government, and small business sectors in Indonesia. Information system development highlights include a web-based e-catalog designed to enhance promotion and branding for UMKM Air Ikan Otista in East Jakarta, a correspondence information system at Santa Maria Homba Karipit Catholic High School, a web-based personnel management information system for the BKPSDM Office of Central Sumba Regency, and a village fund management transparency system in Kahale. Machine learning research presents a comparative study evaluating Random Forest, SVM, LSTM, XGBoost, and LightGBM algorithms for weather prediction in Indonesia's tropical regions. Mobile application innovations include a dentist practice location search app in the Medan Marelan area utilizing Location Based Services and the Euclidean Distance method. Educational technology advances through a 2D mobile game-based interactive learning application on the history of Indonesian Proclamation, developed using the Game Development Life Cycle methodology. Research also covers a web-based academic information system and its role in enhancing parental involvement in student learning. These studies collectively reflect ongoing efforts to leverage digital technology in improving public services, administrative transparency, educational engagement, and local economic empowerment throughout Indonesia.
